Characteristics Of The Built Environment

At first of our lessen for the third week is the revision on last weeks' topics:

First Week:
The 6 elements which is actor--->intention--->act--->rules---> site--->product

Second week:
1. Actor (Dr. Khamidi and students)
2. Intention (introduce sustainability to be used as main idea/force behind their professions.)
3. Act (shared what he had studied, experimented and built)
4. Rules (3Rs- reduce, recycle, reuse)
5. Site (earthquake, prone, area)
6. Product (DBSH)


Third week:
Scale is relatived to another measurement. It is devided into small scale and big scale.
From nanoscale to celestial

object-->interior-->building-->premises-->urban-->regional-->global
(nano) (celestial)

The 6 elements with the characteristics of the built environment
Intention:
ideologies, design theories.

Act:
scope of work (development procedures)

Product:
design of physical objects to physical world.

Actor:
industrial designer (object)--->interior architect (interior)---> architect (building) --->lanscape architect (premise) ---> urban planner (urban) ---> planner (regional) ---> "Governor"(global)

Rules:
legal aspects of development.

Site:
from factories to the internet.

Spacial Contruction
Spacial contruction means see things in differet layers. We have to see 2 things that is node and path.

A path changes direction or stop there is called node. The node always link to another node.
